Where are By Sass products made?
Our swimwear is designed in Queensland, Australia and thoughtfully manufactured in Bali, Indonesia.

How can I best care for my new swim?
A little love goes a long way. Rinse your swimmers in cool, fresh water after every wear, hand wash gently, and lay them flat in the shade to dry. Skip the machine, the dryer and direct heat.
A few things to keep in mind: sunscreen, tanning products, oils and chlorine are tough on swimwear, so rinse soon after contact. Be mindful of rough surfaces, which can snag the fabric. Treated kindly, your pieces will hold their shape and colour for seasons.
Can I surf in BY SASS swimwear?
We ensured to put our swimwear through vigorous product testing (nose-diving on 1ft point breaks) and rest assure, no nip-slipping occurred. (for legal purposes, we cannot confirm whether your particular nip would slip)
Our styles are designed to move with you. They do have a cheeky fit, so keep this in mind when shredding.
Our fabrics are made to last in the salt, sun and sand. As with any fabric, general wear and tear is expected with prolonged sun exposure.
What does the name 'by sass' represent?
BY SASS, by sisters.
The name By Sass was born from our mum's hair salon "SASS Hair", which sits on the corner of a teeny tiny country highway town.
For years, every day, we watched women leave our mum's salon feeling a little more like themselves.
